Thank you Colt for making small revolvers again. This is the “Swiss Watch” of revolvers. It’s double action pull is consistent and smooth as glass. It’s single pull action is just as good. The trigger reset is different than some other revolvers in that there are multiple resets. After you get used to the Colt trigger reset this is a wonderful shooter. I like the wonderful walnut grips that give the revolver a traditional look but offer significant grip from the aggressive checkering. The modern DLC coating should wear like a tank. Thanks again Colt.

Sweet CCW revolver. Colt quality and reliability. Easy to conceal with a IWB holster. I prefer it to the J Frame S&Ws but that is just my personal taste.

Beautiful retro Colt Cobra. Fit and finish are tremendous. Love the look and feel of this Colt. Buds did a great job getting this to me over the Holidays.

Great firearm. Excellent finish and retro wood grips. Excellent trigger. Nicest looking Colt Cobra model available, IMO. A+

Purchasing from Buds was fantastic! Really fast shipping! But, Colts customer service is Horrible! When I received my revolver, I noticed the grip screws face was damaged. I figured it was no big deal and that I would just call Colt and get a replacement screw. I called Colts customer service that very same day I received my Colt night cobra, on about 8-13-25. They said they would send a new screw. Two weeks later I received a screw. But, it was the wrong screw.. I don’t understand how they could have sent the wrong screw. I gave them the serial number, the model and type. I called Colts customer service again and explained they sent the wrong screw, I gave them again my serial number, the model ect. A couple of days later, I received the wrong screw again! Then, I mailed Colts customer service with letter explaining the problems Im having and my receipt from Buds, showing the model ect. Also, a picture showing the screw I need and the one they sent next to a tape measure. It’s now 11-19-25. I still haven’t received the correct replacement grip screw. I held off on doing this review, hoping they could get it right. I’ve tried to buy the proper screw myself. No one has it. I need the 7/8 grip screw. They twice sent the old 1 inch type screw. It overhangs the grip. The only thing I think I can do next is to write a letter to Colt corporate. Maybe they can straighten out their customer service. This was the first and last Colt I’ll buy.

When Colt released its modern version of the Cobra in 2017, it was in stainless steel with a Hogue rubber monogrip. It’s a great snubnose revolver. Another variation of the revolver soon followed, the “Night Cobra.” The Night Cobra had a bobbed hammer and a G10 grip. Apparently, it’s been discontinued. This new iteration of the Night Cobra is sleek, classic, and definitely retro. Wooden grips, classic Colt gold medallion, and bluing make this snubnose look like something out of the 1930s. And it’s fantastic. Tight lockup, smooth action, and easy concealability make this a certain collector’s piece. As always, Bud’s handled the transaction with zero problems.

I absolutely fell in love with this gun. Black finish over stainless steel really made a plus for me.
