    This is a quality pistol, and I’m happy with it. Minor complaint is that there a lot sharp edges which tends to catch on holster and belt. I carry 1911s all the time, and have not had this issue with my others. It’s tight and takes some breaking in. Shoots well and sights are decent out of box.

    The jury is still out on this firearm. I got significant failure to feeds over the 1st 150 rounds. Cleaned and oiled again and I’m hoping they resolve over the next 150 rounds. Sights are true and it feels great in my hand.

    This is exactly what I would expect from Springfield Armory! A beautiful piece of artwork that will put up respectable groups at pistol ranges. It will shoot more accurately than I can shoot it.

    Man, what a great gun! The fit and finish are great. She is a real looker. At the range, fed it about 200 rounds of Winchester white box ball ammo, as well as some JHP ammo. No malfunctions. Gun is very accurate. And Bud’s made the whole transaction smooth, as usual. Highly recommend if looking for a 1911.

    Amazing gun for the money. First 1911 for me. This was my second purchase from Bud’s, and they definitely had the best price I could find anywhere. The fit and finish on the Garrison is really well done. No play in the slide. Controls are easy to use. The trigger is fantastic. I have put 100 rounds through this gun in the first two weeks with zero issues. I would definitely recommend this gun to anyone wanting a classic looking 1911 with modern features.

    Bud’s shipping was timely considering the holiday season, the Springfield Garrison is an awesome pistol, this is my second one. It did require a break in, it had a lot of failures to eject in about the first 40 rounds and then started running flawlessly with the stock mag and mecgar 8’s running Remington 230 grain hardball, blazer brass and 230 grain federal hydroshock.
