First gun purchase. I am very impressed with how comfortable I was in store as a woman. They treated me with respect and were very helpful and knowledgeable. I was surprised there were classes for women. I will be taking one of those.

I bought this because of its high ratings for reliability and low price. I’ve never put a round through it. It’s big, heavy, sorta clumsy but if I need it for self defense I’m pretty sure it will work ok. If it doesn’t fire, I’ll hit them over the head with it!

Very pleased with the hi point 9mm good firearm and good price

This is my 3rd Hi-Point as I have a 45 and another 9mm. They are big and ugly. They are clunky and not the easiest to clean, but they are pretty dependable and I don’t have jams. The slide is a little harder than many others in it’s category, but man the price and the lifetime warranty make it a must have. Like many of you, I envision the worst scenarios and think it’s better to have a few extra handguns for friends/family or trade. You can get two for the price of one! In the end, I rate it a 70/100 for dependability, warranty and price.

So far so good, no issues to date.

I usually don’t leave a review for an item I haven’t fired yet. But, I’m reasonably sure this pistol will work based on its high ratings for reliability. It’s low price is the main reason I purchased it, as I figured it would be a nice companion for my 9mm Marlin Carbine. Though most likely I’ll likely rarely use it. I’m more into muzzle loaders. So I’ve never put a round through it. It’s big, heavy, sorta clumsy and felt a bit odd in my large hand. Like the grip is too short? BUT after doing some research on the subject online, I ordered a couple of TEN round magazines for it and they make a world of difference. Since the ten round mag’s have a little extension on the bottom, it makes the grip longer and now the pistol feels normal in my hand. Otherwise it seems to be decent quality IMO. Kinda fugly, but acceptable for the price : )

I don’t find this pistol heavy, as some people have been saying. fits comfortable in my hand, and shoots accurately once sighted to your eyes.

I got this for a weapon to carry around in my pickup so that way I can still have access to a gun when I’m not carrying

Goes bang like it should. Won’t win any beauty contests. Won’t drain your wallet.
