    I waited until I was able to shoot this revolver a few times before reviewing. I like everything about it. It is definitely a tack driver at the range and fit and finish is beautiful. Worth every penny. I did upgrade the grips and added a red dot thou

    You can’t go wrong with the 686. If you’re on the fence because of the price like I was, go ahead and pull the trigger. Excuse the pun however the performance center trigger is the smooth as butter and single action is incredibly light. Most accurate gun in my collection. 48 specials feel like 22 lr, and 357 is very manageable. This is one to pass on through the generations. This pistol turned me into a S&W fanboy!

    Took this revolver to a local IDPA contest and took first place first time I used it. It’s smooth, accurate, and well made. The cylinder release takes getting used to but overall I think I like it, it is faster than side mounted release. I am impressed by its balance and looks, I’m happy with my purchase.

    Pro: smooth light trigger both DA and SA, front sight, grip, size, weight, balance, finish. Con: sharp teardrop hammer. Not bad, just a little sharp. No moon clip cuts Unfluted cylinder. Just don’t understand why. SW said it’s only for looks. Hillary hole. Get rid of it.

    Good action great price The orange plastic front sight-works great-but it is unsightly! Yeah can never resist a punThe sight works great but orange plastic on a S&W Slick revolver but I am going to get a tritium front sight OH shipping was quick!

    The S&W 686 PC is everything you could want in a single/double action revolver . From fit and finish to handling and hitting targets . I got the 4 inch barrel for shooting with the great open sights at 25 yards or less and the groups produced are very good . I have purchased 3 other Performance Center hand guns from Buds . Service and communication with buds is top shelf. I will be trading and buying from Buds in the future .
