Excellent Pistol. Front & Rear checkering…(Perfectly done). I opted for the non engraved version because I really wanted to appreciate the case color hardening…No disappointments, absolutely beautiful finish and high gloss coating…One of, if not the best looking 1911 i’ve ever seen. If your a 1911 fan and like case color hardening, dont miss this one. It actually looks too good to shoot. This gun is definitely glass showcase worthy.

Absolutely beautiful 1911. Not a cosmetic flaw on the piece. The color case hardening is deep, vibrant, and moves with the light.The pistol is mechanically smooth and without burrs, or machining marks. Opposing surfaces glide across each other effortlessly indicating some time consuming hand rubbing attention. My second Standard 1911 to date. Very impressed with both firearms. Expensive but like everything else quality costs!Buds as always provided a trouble free experience.

Fantastic gun. Fit and finish is excellent. Color case hardening is beautiful. Very nice trigger. Nice sights. Fired 150 rounds without any bobbles. Excellent accuracy.

Absolutely beautiful and flawless 1911. I would place the build quality right in between Dan Wesson and Ed Brown or Les Baer. Tight fitting across the board, no visible defects, flawless firing at about 100 rounds. You will need to use a bushing wrench to strip it down the first time. Mine came with front strap checkering and 3 dot sights which were right on the money. I am guessing that if you get one with plain black sights, it will shoot a bit low, but there are replacement options available at a reasonable cost from Warren Tactical. This is an incredible value in what I consider to be a sem-custom 1911. Comes with a hard cardboard presentation type box, 2 mags (seem to be MecGars, not the greatest), a nice custom gun sock and a large, custom-printed silicone cloth.

This 1911 is amazing, I recieved mine within 2 days of ordering. The finish is flawless, truly a work of art. The only downside is the Factory magazines for this. The first time I loaded 7 rounds into one the spring got stuck and the bullets just fell out of the mags. I went and bought kimpro mags the 8 round fit flush and the gun has operated without failure. I have put 300 rounds through it so far. I didn’t need a barrel bushing tool to break the gun down and clean it. This is the best semi-custom 1911 you’ll get for the money. I wasn’t even upset about the mags. The sights on this are blacked out and although not the most precise shot ragged holes at 20ft and hit the x on the bullseye at 40ft

Top notch from Buds gun store, to fit and finish by Standard Mfg. The pictures do not,do it justice. Such deep hues in the case hardening and the blue small parts, beautiful. On the range at 25ft no adjustment was needed.very satisfied, shot 230gr FMJ 100 rds. As I move out further perhaps a little additional adjustment. Zero hick ups. This is my 1st 1911. WOW WHAT A START!
